Quality & Process
The print
Every work is produced as an archival pigment print on museum grade fine art paper. Pigment on cotton and baryta papers is the most stable printing process available today, with permanence ratings measured in generations, not decades. Each photograph is matched to the paper that serves it best, and that pairing stays fixed for the life of the edition.
The making
I work with master printers in specialist fine art labs, and every print is made under my direction. Before an edition opens, I approve a printer's proof against my own reference standards; every print sold is then matched to that proof. Works are printed on demand, which means each print is made for its collector, never pulled from stock.
Editions
All works are released in strictly limited editions, numbered and signed in pencil. Edition terms are fixed when the first print sells and never change. Prices rise as each edition sells out.
Documentation
Each print ships with a signed certificate of authenticity stating the work's title, edition number, paper, and print date.
Packing and delivery
Smaller prints travel flat, protected in acid free tissue between rigid boards. Larger prints ship in wide diameter rigid tubes, the same method used by museums and galleries for unframed works. Production takes 5 to 10 working days; shipping is worldwide and tracked. Full details on production times, shipping and returns.
